About Us We are a family owned Electrical Contracting Company, Cary is the son of Paul Lamari the founder of Lamari Electric Company which started in 1954 in the Washington Area. Cary opened Cary Electric in 1979 with the expressed purpose to support the residents of Montgomery County Maryland with a personable family run electrical contracting company. We have served residents across Montgomery County for more than 3 decades and always with the intentions of serving our customers with the most current and comprehensive technology. We are trained in the latest Codes and are leaders in Custom Lighting design and installations. In the over 30 years we have served Montgomery County, we have wired and rewired many homes, Designed and installed many Commercial and Residential Lighting installations. We have installed Fire Protection and Sprinkler Alarms systems as well as computer networking. Our goal is to provide you with the latest in electrical service and resources so that you are completely at ease and understand all facets of owning and maintaining a home or commercial property in the 21st Century. Please write out a short explanation of the problems you are experiencing and one of our electricians will get back to you when time allows. When you submit your work order request, it will be entered into our database for tracking purposes. It will be associated with the account name under which you accessed this web. After an initial assessment by our support department, the resolution of the problem will be assigned to an appropriate electrician. Periodically we will post notices regarding problems reported by our customers in the Known Problems section of this page, and tips or workarounds on our blog page.
